I lived at no 50 Sarmukh Road from 1971, last house on the road, at the Na Cha Temple end, after the corner. I was required to register for the Neighbourhood Watch programme that was launched around the late 70's. Anyone remember that, or is it still going on ? We have to register once a month before midnight at the little office right behind the temple, built on the open field, and required to patrol the whole of the Chateau Gardens area, from midnight till 4 am or is it 5 am ?
