I was in Ipoh on 28 Feb and 1 March. There was a heavy downpour on Sunday evening and almost immediately after the rain, I took this pic.

Rain is 'sui' (water). 'Sui' is 'choy' (luck). It must be a good omen for Ipohites since it rained on Chap Goh Mei!

So Kayes, the 'sui' was from Penang or K.L.? :-)

After the rain, the sky looks beautiful. Love the designs of the clouds formed on the left of this pic. Awesome and it was sharply and quickly captured. Excellent!

This is the perfect pic. for the Chinese proverb: "Yi Ko Tien Chin" (After the rain, the sky will be brighter.) The proverb tells us that problems and adversities are only temporary and when they are gone, life will always be beautiful.

The lights on the first floor of this building was on, indicating it's already dark in the building and yet this building was perfectly shot. Love the unique colour of the building captured. Fantastic! Very professional!! 10 Thumbs Up!

The street looks clean after the downpour. Tempted to walk barefooted on it. Will definitely do so next time. Smile

Anyone can share the history of this Ipoh Railway Station (other than that the architect was AB Hubback)? I heard Jalan Anthony (now only half left and without any road sign) was named after the person who actually built it...
