My wings may be almost colourless (in printing, white is not a colour) but I stand out outstanding among the colours.....

You are indeed very lucky to have such a rare find, Kayes!

Love this butterfly very much! My favourite bougainvillea make beautiful background. Those dry spots on the bougainvillea make us treasure the flowers more. The feelers between the two white flowers were timely captured. A flawless shot. 10 Thumbs Up!

Alone I perch on a lovely, violet flower
Resting my wings to regain my flying power
Soon I 'll be airborne to resume my flight
Journeying through life with all my might

Hi Ken, you have very aptly described your butterfly. Do tell me if I'm being fanciful if I say I see an owl in the thumb-size pic of this butterfly! It is not so apparent in the large pic but definitely there in the small one. Mind you, not an ordinary owl but one with a purple head, orange wings, white body and yellowish eyes! Do you see it now? Cheers. Nope, haven't touched a drop!!

You are right, Blue Grass! It's a hard working night owl - burning midnight oil ..... Smile

Hi Blue Grass,
On the first look, my untrained eyes could not detect the outline of the owl. However, when prodded by your insightful hints, the pieces come together and the owl with unusual colors appeared before my eyes. I must admit you have the uncanny ability to connect the dots and spot these wonders of nature. Kudos to a truly ardent nature lover and bird watcher.

So happy to see those young leaves started growing again on the dried bougainvillea in our garden. Besides the recent dry spell, that someone who was supposed to feed the flowers with water turned kejam Smile. The bougainvillea became "thirsty" and all leaves were falling off. The twigs and branches became brittle. I decided to take over task. I watered the bougainvillea twice a day diligently. After all the TLC, young leaves started to grow again on each and every pot of the bougainvillea. So proud of myself! Smile

Remember someone told me this: "As long as the roots are still intact, just give them enough love and the plants will definitely grow again."

Thank you!!
