Kayes, I can't seem to get through to Norsamsiah using the number given. Is it possible that the number has been changed to a 8 digit one?
Do you know how much it costs per nite for the whole bungalow? My golfing friend managed to get one called "Hill Top" or something like that at $1,200 per nite for 4 rooms. Do you know whether this Hill Top bungalow is any good?

hello Chin, I am not sure about the number being changed. You are probably right that it has changed to 8 digits. I have another number which is 03-27101133 and is operational only during office hours. The last time I stayed at Bukit Lowick was three years ago and if I remember right, it cost RM800 a day for the whole bungalow.

Hilltop is another bungalow for rent. The number I have is 019-3714846. I think this is the mobile of the caretaker. I stayed there a couple of years ago during off season and on a weekday and it cost RM600 per day. Hilltop is a nice place but the Bukit Lowick view is better. When I stayed at both places, Bukit Lowick seemed to be better maintained though.

Hi Kayes, how many rooms do you get for $600 and do they have a limit on the number of occupants. BTW, do they provide catering services and if so, how much do they charge per head? I intend to bring a group of friend there for golf soon. I have been told that the rooms at the old Merlin has gone through the roof after the recent change in management/owner, so I will have to settle for a cheaper bungalow stay instead.

Bukit Lowick has 3 rooms and only 6 persons (inclusive of children( are allowed. Hilltop has 4 rooms and only 8 persons are allowed. Meals (4) are RM45 per person. Prices have probably gone up as I stayed there 2/3 years ago. The old Merlin has been bought by YTL and it is now called the Cameron Highlands Resort, a boutique hotel. I hear prices start at RM800 per room. Strawberry Park Hotel is close enough to the golf course and maybe that is the place to pick now. Another choice would be Equatorial Hotel but it is further away up in Brinchang. Both these hotels are about RM200 per room.

I recently heard that this bungalow is not rented out anymore. Can anyone confirm this?
