Hi, Kayes.

The florist, Po Gardens, which used to be right next to Main Convent School, has relocated to Jalan Lau Ek Ching.

hi Phoebe, thanks for the confirmation Smile Someone also told me Po Gardens has moved to Jalan Lau Ek Ching but yesterday when I drove through that street, I could not see the signboard. I am sure it is there and it is just a case of these old eyes don't see too well anymore Sad

No worries, Kayes. Smile Po Gardens is at 10, Jalan Lau Ek Ching. When you're there next, pop in and say hello to Chan Choi Mun for me, won't you? Smile She's my former classmate who married into the Lip family. I last visited her in 1997 at their old address (next door to Main Convent).

By the way, 50 is the new 30. And 60 is what? 40, maybe? Wink

Phoebe thanks again. With your tip of the house number (No:10), I zoomed in on one of my pics of Lau Ek Ching Street and true enough, the white signboard of Po Gardens showed up. I suppose I missed it because their signboard is too discreet compared to the others. Okay, I now know where to go for my flowers in Ipoh Smile

Hi Phoebe. Good to hear from you again. Your friend's husband, Peter Lip, is a friend of ours. We get our flowers from them and Peter does nice arrangements. Their shop also doubles as their home and so it is a bit crammed. Met Peter recently but if I see his wife, will certainly give her your regards.

Hi, Blue Grass. Thanks for refreshing my dodgy memory with Peter's name. I only had a brief glimpse of him when I was chatting with his wife, Choi Mun, during my impromptu 1997 visit. And thanks in advance, too, for conveying my regards to her if/when you do see her. Smile

Kayes, you're welcome re the tip. I just googled it. Smile!
