I wonder if any sit-down customers have ever been collected by a passing car before along here. If not, Ipoh must be the safest place on earth to enjoy an al fresco sit-down meal where you can reach out to touch passing traffic. Smile

Somehow it felt much safer to sit on the road to eat during the 60s and 70s. I remember that famous lane near the Lido Cinema (the lane joining Cockman Street and Anderson Road) where motorbikes would brush past you when you were having "hoong tow sar". I suppose the standard of driving has deteriorated greatly over the years.
